The final Pictionary match of the year featured the Seein' Potatoes versus the Blinding' Onions. The Onions reigned supreme after a close competition! Everyone won though because free macaroni & cheese, slow cooked green beans, cherry bars, focaccia, and pumpkin spice mini cupcakes were enjoyed by all!

Our first tea party featured 3 kinds of wildcrafted tea, watercress soup, a spinach and blood orange salad, and then three tiers of savory finger sandwiches, scones, coffee cake, biscuits, and desserts! All scratch-made! All vegan!

Welcome Back Weekend Prix Fixe

Guests enjoyed a five course prix fixe dinner featuring rosemary olive focaccia, a cup of cream of potato soup, a local organic mixed greens salad with strawberries, blueberries, toasted walnuts, and red onions topped with a housemade strawberry vinaigrette, a main course featuring shepherd's pie, macaroni & cheese, green beans, three bean salad, and mashed potatoes and gravy, and a dessert sampler featuring lemon lavender cake, blueberry pie with whipped cream, a white chocolate chip cookie, and a dark chocolate dipped macaroon. Also in celebration of Mother's Day weekend, moms received a special bouquet of flowers complete with a cut-out cookie flower.

Catering Farm Sanctuary's Team Week

We had the opportunity to cater breakfast and lunch for two days of Farm Sanctuary's Team Week. Offerings included items such as sausage gravy and biscuits, tofu scramble, sloppy joes, shepherd's pie, macaroni and cheese, cupcakes, dessert bars, and more!

Our second Pictionary night had a sold out crowd! We enjoyed macaroni & cheese, green beans, oatmeal cookies, cherry bars, and sweet tea! Team I Don't Know reigned supreme!
Dinner for Ukraine
March 19-20, 2022
We held a dinner benefitting Ukraine featuring vegan versions of Ukrainian dishes including vinehret, borscht, kovbasa, dill potatoes, banish, holubtsi, Vareniki, chocolate babka, yabluchnyk, and kompot. We offered 4 in-person dining events and 4 to go sessions serving over 100 people. We raised $1,770.41 that was donated to World Central Kitchen & Come Back Alive.

Our first Pictionary night was so much fun! We had about 16 people attend! The teams were The Destroyers and The Destroyers of - >. Everyone wore green necklaces for St. Patrick's Day and we enjoyed cabbage & noodles, shamrock cookies, lime bars, and mint lemonade!
Christmas Cookies, Carols, and Lights
Grandma's Kitchen hosted their first holiday celebration for the community offering free Christmas cookies and hot chocolate with tiny marshmallows! After enjoying some snacks, Grandma's Kitchen's holiday lights display was illuminated for the first time and participants went caroling along Main Street! The holiday lights display went on to win 1st place in Holiday Lights: Schuyler Style!
Grandma's Kitchen's first festival was Village Christmas in Watkins Glen!

The Watkins Glen Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Grandma's Kitchen. Speakers included Montour Falls' mayor, James Ryan and Farm Sanctuary's Gene Baur!
