What allergens are present at Grandma's Kitchen?

Foods prepared at Grandma's Kitchen may contain or come into contact with soy, wheat, tree nuts, peanuts, or peas.

If you have a specific allergy and are interested in visiting Grandma's Kitchen, please contact us in advance.

Do you offer gluten free selections?

Because we operate a bakery out of our small kitchen, we cannot guarantee that any of our offerings are gluten free at this time.

We have options available that are made without gluten, but no dedicated space is available and cross contamination could be possible. Please consider this and your level of sensitivity to gluten before visiting Grandma's Kitchen. 

Where are you located?

Grandma's Kitchen is located at 123 South Catherine Street (Route 14) in Montour Falls, NY 14865.

Is there parking available?

Free on Street Parking is available on West South Street. 

Free public parking is available in two municipal lots on Main Street, which is a short walk from the cafe. 

What forms of payment are accepted? 

We accept cash, credit, Apple Pay, Venmo, and PayPal.

Do you offer delivery? 

Delivery is only available for drop off catering at this time. 

Is Grandma's Kitchen accessible?

There is a ramp on the side of Grandma's Kitchen that faces West South Street. Our bathroom is also accessible.

Do you accept special orders?

We are not accepting Special Orders at this time.

Do you offer catering?

We are not offering catering at this time. 

Do you have gift cards available?

Yes! E-gift cards are available on our Gifts page. Gift cards are available at the cafe.

I have a "Two Lunches" gift certificate. Can I still use my gift certificate this year?

Yes! Of course!

Are private dinners available at Grandma's Kitchen?

Yes. Our basic private dinners feature five courses including scratch-made bread to start, a cup of scratch-made soup, an organic farm fresh mixed greens salad, an entree and three side dishes, dessert, and a beverage. Everything on our menu is made from scratch and features as many local organic ingredients as possible. $350 includes the basic five course private dinner for 1 to 10 people. Additional adults can be added for $30 each. Additional children ages 3-10 can be added for $15 each. Up to a maximum of 16 people for indoor dining, 16 additional people can be accommodated in our covered outdoor dining area. There are also 3 picnic tables available for additional outdoor seating. Do you have alcohol available? 

Yes, we have a selection of local beer and wine available. Ages 21+ only.

Why aren't you open more hours? Why do you sometimes run out of items?

All foods at Grandma's Kitchen are made from scratch using as many local organic ingredients as possible. If you eat a breakfast potato, for example, it was hand peeled and cooked just for you that morning! For this reason, our hours are limited and we may run out of some things. We hope you will understand the challenges as well as the magic of a tiny, scratch-made, all vegan, farm-to-table cafe and bakery!

Why do I see chicken salad on your menu if you are vegan? 

At Grandma's Kitchen, we want our menu to be approachable to everyone, whether you have been vegan for years or if this is your first time trying vegan food. We do not use altered food names as some places might choose to. We also do not put the word "vegan" in front of all non-vegan-sounding ingredients. This is our choice for our cafe since we want everything to be just like how Grandma would make it, only vegan! But rest assured, all items are vegan!

I forgot about an event that I purchased tickets to! What can I do?

We try very hard to work with all of our wonderful customers! A reminder will be sent out before any event that you have purchased tickets to. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to help you out. 48 hours before the event, we are no longer able to offer refunds because we will be busy cooking and preparing for you. If there is availability, we may be able to switch you to a different seating at the same event. Otherwise, we can offer your meal To Go.
